The General course of the Russian language for bilingual children and children learning Russian as a foreign language is a comprehensive course that helps develop all basic language skills – reading, listening, writing, speaking. Our teachers create an individual study program for each student, depending on their language level, goals and wishes. In the course, we use specialized textbooks and extra materials. Classes are conducted with the use of interactive technologies that make lessons more exciting for children and let them review the material on their own. Our groups usually consist of 2-4 people of the same level of Russian. Learning in a group is a great way to connect with other Russian learners around the world. Also, it’s a unique option for learners, who may not feel ready for one-on-one dialogue. ¶¶Our group courses are held in small groups, so everyone can practice a lot in class. Our teachers use efficient learning materials, including Zlatoust Publishing House textbooks, and additional materials, like authentic videos and articles, PowerPoint presentations and etc. In every lesson, students firstly review the material they’ve learned in the previous class, and then move on to a new topic with lots of conversational practice along with some grammar and vocabulary exercises. There is some homework to do after each class, so the students receive enough exercises to master the language skills. ¶¶Every group has its own WhatsApp chat room, where they can ask their teacher questions, share ideas and new experiences in the language learning. ¶¶We record every group's session and save it in a private Google Drive, together with other course materials, so the students have access to everything they’ve learned even when the course is over.¶¶Lesson times:¶¶Group lessons take place twice a week, 60 minutes each, on Zoom. The individual course is modelled on the precise request of the student whilst keeping an optimum working environment in order to develop key language skills. Grammar structures, necessary instruments for communication are studied as well as vocabulary and oral communication, written comprehension, dialogues, pronunciation and writing. Naturally, the most interesting aspects for the student will be the focus of the lessons.¶¶Our teachers use Zlatoust publishing house textbooks and also prepare their own materials to provide their students with individualized and fun exercises. About the course:

In this course you will get acquainted with the ethnic diversity of Russia, learn to understand the uniqueness of cultures of different regions, expand your vocabulary in the field of folklore and ethnography, learn to understand folklore texts in Russian better.

Direction: Russian language and literature, ethnography, culture, history, preparation for the TORFL-2/B2 and TORFL-3/C1 exam
